About Al-Rada Bakery

Located at 16143 W Warren Ave, Detroit, MI 48228, Al-Rada Bakery operates as an asian bakery serving Detroit in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Detroit. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in Michigan are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Al-Rada Bakery at (313) 791-7559; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, m.facebook.com.

Its Google rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 158 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Detroit is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Detroit is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Michigan's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Bad experience The food was extremely disappointing. The rice and chicken thighs were served very cold, and the chicken tasted like it had been sitting since yesterday. The food did not taste fresh at all. Very poor quality and definitely not worth the money. I definitely will not be ordering from this place again.

Al-Rida Bakery had A+ customer service and is top notch when it comes to beauty both on the inside and outside. The entirely Arabic name on the building is what really drew my interest. I love the Arabic language and I love my religion Islam. Imam Al-Rida is one of the biggest inspirations in my life and I cherish this remembrance of him. Allah SWT has written your names on the gates of Jannah for such a beautiful form of Tawassul such as this bakery. Mr Rida the store owner’s son was very kind and taught me what the name meant. I love these quotes from Imam Al-Rida: "Humbleness is degrees... that man should know the measure of his own soul and sincerely place it in its rank. He does not like to do anything for others except that which he wants others to do for him." "No one will achieve true faith unless there are three features in him: appreciation of religion; proper planning for livelihood; and perseverance in hardships." "Do good to all the people whether they be worthy of it or not. Even if they do not deserve it you should be worthy of doing good." I ended up getting some flatbread which was absolutely fantastic! Thank you Allah SWT for the gift of this lovely bakery and

Al-Rada Bakery was an all-around negative experience. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional, making the visit uncomfortable from the start. The food quality was very poor. Bread and soups were overpriced, and the dolma we purchased was rubbery and inedible. I became sick afterward, which alone is reason enough not to return. We were also charged for more items than we received (8 pieces of bread but only given 6). When this was questioned, staff responded defensively instead of correcting the mistake. Important safety note: if you stay in your car outside this location, you may be repeatedly approached and harassed for money or cigarettes, which made the situation feel unsafe and uncomfortable. Between the poor food quality, inflated prices, rude service, and safety concerns, this is not a business I would recommend. I will not be returning.
